Blacksmith Shop: Watch how horseshoes, nails and door hardware are made using hot coals and a hammer.
Sawmill and Shingle & Lathe Mills: Watch huge logs being cut into lumber for building. Pick up a shingle branded with this year’s logo.

Opening exercises will begin with Pledge of Allegiance and a daily poem and followed by a Spelling Bee. At 11:00 am, there will be a Trivia Bee (topic – St. Croix Watershed) and then it’s time for lunch and outdoor playground games. Indoor activities will resume at 1:00 pm with an arts/craft project and some language learning. The day will end with a sing-a-long that starts at about 2:45 pm. No fee to participate. Folks are invited to watch the activities.
Sunrise Shell Gas Station: Operated for many years in downtown Sunrise. Closed in 1962. Board the stage coach with its team of exceptional horses at this stop and take a ride. Golf cart rentals from Lakes Area Golf Carts are also located here.

T-shirt Shack: Want a souvenir? Purchase t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats celebrating this year’s event. Look for new location.
