The Almelund Threshing Company is proud to be partnering with the Boy Scouts of America to offer the scouts a place to gather and grow. During the weekend of May 17-19, 2024, the BSA gathered and camped at the ATC showgrounds – about 250 BSA members.
The scouts were earning a variety of Merit badges. Here’s a partial list of badges (of the 23 offered during the weekend):
The scouts also completed over 150 hours of service work at the showgrounds; helping us to get ready for the 2024 show and fulfilling some of their service work obligations. Thank you scouts!

State law dictates how much room is needed for vehicle traffic entering and leaving our lots. There are mowed strips in the East and West parking lots to help keep parking orderly. Parking for cargo trailers and trucks and overflow cars is available on south side of Highway 95. Please use that space if you have a cargo trailer! Cargo trailers may be left in that area overnight. Do not park on the side of Highway 95 as your vehicle will be subject to towing. Maximizing space is easier if this policy is followed. The alternative is to have your vehicle towed if not parked correctly.
Gates open daily at 7:00 a.m. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
Children age 12 and under are free with adults. Cars and trucks are restricted to parking areas, display areas and roadways. Cars and trucks may not be operated within the showgrounds during show hours except as authorized by the ATC Board for ATC operations. Vehicles with campers will be issued a camp parking permit to allow parking near their camper. Permit must match the vehicle license plate. Two permits are allowed per camper. There are no dump stations on site. There is an ATM on site near the Entertainment Building. The closest gas station/groceries are at Rod’s Country Corner (2.9 miles west). No glass containers are allowed on grounds.
