Almelund Threshing Show

2018 Almelund Threshing Show – August 10, 11 and 12

The Almelund Threshing Show is Minnesota’s premier outdoor event for classic tractor and old-tyme farming fans.  Vintage equipment is not just on display but actually in use.  Three full days of attractions – including tractor pulls, parades and demonstrations.  It only happens once a year so don’t miss it!   Be close to the action – stay at our campground.  Start out with our tractor parade on Sunday, August 5th.   Bring your tractor to the showgrounds for display and participation in the daily tractor parade.   Wear good walking shoes.   Food available on site.  Children playground area.  Largest flea market in the area.

“FREE” Event:  August 5, 2018 starts at 9:oo am

The Almelund Threshing Show is proud to welcome new participants to join all of our regulars to our annual Tractor Caravan.   The caravan line-up will be at 9:00 am at Anderson & Koch Ford on the west side of freeway in North Branch.  There is plenty of room to unload your tractor and leave your truck and trailer on site.  Bus transportation will be provided back at the end of the day.

Tractors will travel at approximately 8 to 10 mph and the journey will take most of the day.  The route is a 32 mile scenic journey stretching through the gorgeous countryside of northern Chisago county and ending at the Almelund Threshing Showgrounds around 4:00 pm.    Once your tractor is at the showgrounds, you may leave it there until the end of the show.  There will be rest stops along the way.  Mobile outhouses will accompany the caravan.   Peterson’s Repair and Towing will be joining us and will provide rescue service for vehicles if there are any breakdowns.  No lunch will be provided enroute or on the showgrounds on that date.  Bring your own lunch, beverages and sun screen.

We get together most Saturdays in the summer in preparation for the show.                                 Annual banquet in January.
