Tractor Caravan will be Sunday, August 6th

This year’s tractor caravan will be on Sunday, August 6th.   This year’s Tractor Caravan will begin and end at the Almelund Threshing Show grounds and will follow some of the same route as last year.  More information will be available here soon.

Meet at the grounds at 9:00am.  Driver’s meeting at 9:30 and the Caravan will leave promptly at 10:00am. We will turn left leaving the showgrounds and follow the route shown on the information below.   There will be (3) stops: Wild Mountain Recreation, Wild Mountain Winery, and the Almelund Heritage Center.

We will then return to the Threshing show grounds.  Come early, get your tractor in line, and join the group for coffee.  When we return, you may leave your tractor on the grounds until the show.   If you have any questions, contact Mark at 612-799-2647 or mstovern.atc@gmail.com.

PARKING POLICY

Camping trailers are allowed only in camping area – not in parking lots

State law dictates how much room is needed for vehicle traffic entering and leaving our lots. There are mowed strips in the East and West parking lots to help keep parking orderly.  Parking for cargo trailers and trucks and overflow cars is available on south side of Highway 95.   Please use that space if you have a cargo trailer!  Cargo trailers may be left in that area overnight.  Do not park on the side of Highway 95 as your vehicle will be subject to towing.   Maximizing space is easier if this policy is followed.   The alternative is to have your vehicle towed if not parked correctly.

Three full days of attractions

Including tractor pulls, parades and demonstrations

Gates open daily at 7:00 a.m.  Admission is $20 for all three days or $10 per day (MN sales tax included in price). Wristbands must be worn at all times.

Children under age 12 are free with adults.   Camping fees are $10/per unit per night. Cars and trucks are restricted to parking areas, display areas and roadways. Cars and trucks may not be operated within the showgrounds during show hours except as authorized by the ATC Board for ATC operations.  Vehicles with campers will be issued a camp parking permit to allow parking near their camper.  Permit must match the vehicle license plate. Two permits are allowed per camper.  There are no dump stations on site.  There is an ATM on site near Entertainment Building.   Closest gas station/groceries are at Rod’s Country Corner (2.9 miles west).  No glass containers are allowed on grounds.
