Garden Tractor Pull Rules
Off The Lawn Class
Classes: 550 lbs, 650 lbs, 750 lbs, 850 lbs, 950 lbs, 1050 lbs, 1150 lbs.
RULES:
1. Stock size tires turf or bar.
2. Hitch must be in stock location.
3. Stock weights only.
4. Open 1 or 2 cylinders-stock drive train.
5. Stock rpm's
MOD Class
Classes: 650 lbs, 750 lbs.
RULES:
1. Engine and drive train mod OK, 3 cylinder allowed
2. Stock size tires-turf or bar
Heavy Class
Class: 1150, lbs Thu 1450 lbs
RULES:
1. One driver per class.
2. One tractor per class
3. Tractors may be pulled in only two classes.
4. All drivers must be able to completely operate tractor that they are driving.
5. All tractors must have working brakes. Drivers must be able to stop the tractor or
the sled operator will stop you.
6. Only the driver and one crew member at the starting line.
7. All tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times, This means in the pit area,
driving on the track, and driving off the track. If this is a problem the driver will be
disqualified and possibly suspended from pulling.
8. If any items fall off the tractor after the wave mark the tractor will be disqualified
for that weight class. Items that fall of your tractor due to mechanical failure will be
measured at that point.
9. Tractors will not be worked on after they have reached the track,
except for adjusting weights in a wave off.
10. Drivers will not consume any alcohol before or during the pull. Unsportsmanlike conduct
will not be tolerated.
11. All tractors must stop when the red flag is waved. The flagmen and sled are in control of
the track.
12. Participants must sign an insurance waiver, if the participant is under the age of 18
a guardian must also sign the waiver.
13. Drivers must remain seated with feet firmly on the foot boards while pulling
down the track.
14. Hitch height will be 13" and cannot extend past the face of the rear tires. Hitch must
be ridged, no swing bar.
15. No attachments will be allowed on the tractor except in the off the lawn class, the
mower deck is allowed.
16. All tractors must have at least a 3' backrest on the seat, the backrest must be able to
support the driver.
17. Wheelie bars must not exceed 5" from the ground and cannot be less than 5" behind the
face of the rear tire, or the bottom of the front tire must not exceed 20" from the
ground while wheelie bars are in contact with the ground. Wheelie bars must support the
weight of the tractor.
18. If any person interferes with a tractor during a pull the tractor will be measured at that
point. If a tractor is driven out of bounds, (any wheel of the tractor), the tractor will be
disqualified.If the tractor is pushed out due to the sled while the operator is making an
effort to stop, the tractor will be measured at that point, it is the sled operator's decision.
19. Drivers can waive off their pull prior to the 25' mark. Drivers will be allowed to hook
one more time and they may adjust the weight but not remove or add weights. In the
event of a pull-off the driver gets one try.
20. Any driver in a pull-off, must re-weigh before the re-pull. Tractors cannot extend more
then 8" in front of the rear axle and total length cannot be more then 10'
21. All tractors must weigh-in before pulling. All tractors must have fenders covering 1/4
of each rear tire.
